Peggy Flanagan: Ogimaa Kwe, Lieutenant Governor

In 2018 Peggy Flanagan was elected Minnesota's lieutenant governor, making her the first Native woman to hold such a high elected statewide office in the United States. Her whole life, she's known that the school system doesn't tell Native American stories in a true way.
