The present book was made with the purpose of knowing the perception of the family caregiver about the nursing care to the hospitalized oncology patient in the Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital, 2015. The two major categories evidenced are: Care and (Un)care. Care is the essence of nursing that is obtained based on knowledge and skills appropriate to the needs of the patient where two subcategories result: care in the installed therapeutic and the body as an object of care, where the most salient of care is love-affection, which is the primary axis for good care.When the family caregiver perceives little attention, little affection, little patience, non-empathic care, non-individualized care and a lack of interest we are talking about a (dis) care by nursing, this leads to dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction of the patient and his family.
