Perspectives on the Qur'an

… any genuine study of Islam must include an understanding of the Qur’an and its teaching especially from the perspective of those for whom it is their holy book and who endeavour to live by its precepts. For Christians who want to communicate effectively with their Muslim neighbours, such an understanding is of primary importance. But how or where does one begin? This small volume aims to provide a base from which further study and exploration can occur. While it is not feasible in this volume to provide a detailed study of the Qur’an and its teaching, it is possible to provide an overview, especially as it relates to Christians.
