Physiological Studies on Some Field Crops of Beed District

India is basically an agricultural country and about 70 %% of its people live in villages. Their livelihood is dependent mainly on agriculture and animal husbandry, and therefore, development of agriculture plays a vital role in the progress of our country. Indian agricultural production strategies are being managed and implemented in such a way to raise socioeconomically status of farmers holding small pieces of land. Urbanisation, industrialisation, education, improved communication and transport facilities are helping to improve prevailing socioeconomic disparities. If it comes true, the situation will arise, in which the people in India instead of being viewed as "problems and liabilities" will be looked upon as "opportunities and assets".
