Picked Placed & Chosen is Debra Garner's autobiographical poem about discovering the love surrounding her from birth to being a grandmother.

Debra shares her intimate story of learning to understand the love her birth mother had to give her up for adoption. She describes her adoptive family's love and the gift of being reunited with her birth siblings and the siblings she gained through adoption.

One of her poems describes her conflicting emotions of meeting her birth parents shortly before their deaths.
