Picking Up Pieces

A man falls into a special kind of hell when he loses his reason for being. Just ask Detective Thomas Shea, Buffalo Homicide, who lost his when a tractor trailer skidded across a highway. Now, he watches himself waste away, tortured by the realization his life is on a downward spiral into the abyss. His life changes when he meets two people while investigating a series of homicides who help him begin again. One is the serial killer who needs to use Thomas for his own ends, and the other is a woman who shines some love into Thomas' heart and who the killer intends to make his last victim before he stops.
