Pilate

Pontious Pilate does not suffer fools well. Yet his reputation for harsh governing hides a just man, who is torn inside between his own sense of moral integrity and his duty to Rome. As Pilate holds court over Passover Jerusalem, a routine civil complaint brings Jesus of Nazareth before the Roman Prefect. Pilate's interrogation of the supposed heretic evolves into a passionately mystical conversation that begins to undue the Prefect of Judea emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.
