When Amy Marsh hears her son's song being played on the radio, she is caught off guard. Not only has he been dead for over twenty years, but his music was never aired. So why, on his birthday, twenty-one years after his death is someone else singing his haunting melody?

She's about to find out. As a retired journalist, she and her husband, ex-building contractor Daniel, have retired from the Midwest to the sunny coast of Carmel, California. As Amy uses her past writing experience to extract an article from the supposed singer/songwriter, she takes her entire family on a spiritual journey that will change their lives forever.

Daniel's gruff nature struggles against his wife's softness and willingness to accept this new young singer into their family, but in the end, even her son's ex-band mates will have to concede, there's something unique and special about Jonah.
