Plutonium and the Rio Grande

Workers at the Los Alomos National Laboratory dumped waste plutonium from the Manhattan Project and other nuclear weapons projects into canyons draining into the Rio Grande. This book studies the movement of the plutonium through the river system, and is illustrated with maps, diagrams and photographs. The analytic methods employed will serve as a model for application elsewhere.
