The book is a meditation on the COVID-19 pandemic experienced by everyone in the world at some level or another. The main idea emphasized in the book is the fact that if one likes it or not, nature always has the last word. The poems try to address and highlight this perilously important and eternal lesson. This may be a hard lesson to accept for some, but nonetheless it should serve as a great reminder to all humanity that going against nature is never a very wise thing to do.
