Pogo's Patchwork Blanket

For the first eight months after a baby sloth is born, it will cling to its mother constantly. This ensures that the young sloth will be safe from any predators and outgrow the food source. Pogo's Patchwork Blanket is a story about what happens when a sloth mom (through no fault of her own) cannot complete this important part of sloth-rearing. Pogo and his mom go on a journey through the rainforest to get help and make sure that together they can find a solution that will keep Pogo safe and allow him to grow. Pogo learns all about the tough choices that parents make to keep their little ones safe, and that sometimes family can look a lot different than just having a mom or a dad.
