Point of Honor

Point of Honor, a novel of fiction, opens with a young girl rushing at dusk from a disastrous secret tryst somewhere in the rugged mountains of Sicily. It follows at a fast-pace page-turner saga of a quickly arranged marriage and events leading from a lifestyle of miseria through an elegant lifestyle, baronial lands and of triumph over the unhappiness in her life. Her world, as well as that of her closest people, changes as they experience and reveal heroics, sacrifices, justice and injustice from 1923 through the sixties. The novel reveals the internal-individual point of honor of each of the women in the novel as they face understanding of the self and find strength in changing times.
