This study of pornographic magazine photographs-softcore, hardcore, transsexual/transvestite-analyzes the visual code of these images. It engages questions about masculinity and masculine sexuality such as "Is there a necessary relation between difference and phallic desire?" "Can the masculine subject imagine otherness?"
