The twenty-third issue of speech: will be on the subject of industrial architecture, focusing on factories and manufacturing facilities and the sites they occupyproperty that, following changes in the economy and urban-planning strategies, needs to be approached today in a fundamentally new way. The issue will not just deal with listed architectural heritage but also with the industrial structures of the 1960s to 1980s: these are buildings not subject to any legal preservation requirement, but for which it is nevertheless more human and sustainable to refrain from demolition. Industrial heritage offers additional capacity to develop areas for large cities and an opportunity to create new formats for living.
