Prayer Song

Through political manifestos and love letters to distant ancestors, Prayer Song is a meditation on the through-line connecting radical acts from prayers to protests. Alferos' excavation of a radical love informed by Black feminist and abolitionist work moves beyond theory, instead making it intimate. Prayer Song is an ode to radical teachings and a penetrating reminder of the artistry needed to continually reimagine our radical love.
