From his early career as a child pavement artist in the 1930s to his work as a hotelier in Thailand, Peter Granville's life has been an unusual one. Unafraid to follow his instincts, he also pursued a career in engineering before setting up a firm of his own, and later establishing a laundry in Thailand after a business trip led to a chance encounter with a young woman who would become his business partner and second wife.
