Principles of Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry

An introduction to the basic principles of atmospheric physics and chemistry, presented for a motivated physics or chemistry major, having no prior knowlegde of the subject. All aspects of the lower and middle atmospheres, except for large-scale dynamics, are treated in a connected account as ultimate consequences of the solar radiation falling on the planet.
