The book has been written in due different periods and tells the stories of two different periods, even though there were not far apart. In primis it tells my stories from my work as an MD in the Italian correctional institutes. Tells of and Israeli female doctor who worked for 8 years in that system. These are short/medium long scripts/stories that describe "special" events in prison routine: How does the night of the December 31th look and feel like? How dose an Israeli female MD get to work in such a strange environment? How does she survive this work, especially when about a third of the inmates are North-African Muslims?. This first part of the meeting points with it. And the book takes us also to these meeting points, including the comeback of heroin usage, the story of the Bosco of Rogredo, and social networks addictions. This first part was written over a period of 3 months. On March 2021 I decided that I can't give ironic or sarcastic points of view for the stories that are still there to tell. That my texts become darker and hopeless. The second part of the book gathers a few of my own personal, intimate texts, written between May 24th 2021, a day after a lost my brother Amit (30 years old), my sister in law Tal (26 years old) and my nephew Tomi (2 years old) in a cable car accident on the mountain of Motarone in northern Italy. 15 people were on the cable car, and only one survived the fall of the cabin, my almost 6 year old (at the time) nephew Eitan. I started to write already at the intensive care unit, where I stayed by Eitan's bed for nearly 3 weeks (leaving at home my 2 girls and husband). I wrote with a lot of pain my goodbyes form Amit, Tal and Tom. I wrote a very angry text, against the giornalists and the media, a text in the spirit of "J'accuse" of Emil Zola. A text that has never been published because of my fear from a war with the media. Other texts included in this part are describing my (our) lost way of life and the new reality. On the role i took on myself as a guardian of my nephew. Part of the texts were written during that first summer, the night before Eitan's kidnapping (Eitan was kidnapped by him maternal grandfather to Israel on September 11th, and I had to leave Italy of 3 month in order to activate the convention of Aja in Israel and bring Eitan home). I included texts written in "special" events: the first birthday of my beloved brother, a year after the tragedy, our first vacation with the 3 kids.Dott.ssa Aya Biran Nirko
