Project Theory is an autobiographical history of the struggles of one man, Paul Hunt, as he grew up in one of the toughest, Housing projects, Aliso Village in Boyle Heights. As a young child trying to navigate eight city blocks claimed by over twenty different street gangs, this young Black child found a way to survive in a hood full of Latino gangs who normally should have wanted him dead, given the racial tensions of East L.A in the 1980 's and 90's .
