A‌s a child growing up in the heart of drug-infested   Juárez, Mexico, Sergio Alvarado watched helplessly as his alcoholic father abandoned the family and his mother turned to prostitution—lifestyles that eventually lead to early deaths for both of them. After spending over 20 years battling his own drug and alcohol addictions, watching helplessly as his life sank deep into a dark abyss spawned by the environment he grew up in, Sergio met Yvette, who introduced him to a life of hope, freedom and deliverance—through Jesus Christ.
