The creation of shared meaning is the distinctive mark of our species. As humans we are eager to accept our creative ability, yet disinclined to recognize the paradoxical acceptance of responsibility that it implies. True realization of creative ability is in learning how to build social realities and how to deconstruct them. Deconstruction can be done with the intent of reassembling the building blocks in a meaningful way and through being aware of the consequences of this reassembly. To critique and tear down is simpler than to build with purpose.
