Pulled By the Stars...Again

I'm curious about the movement inside stillness,

the stillness inside the movement,

where heart beats move

along arms to the neck of things.

I hear words spoken then gone away.

Soon a slight smile begins,

takes over a mouth that hasn't

spoken a word in centuries.

Pulled by the Stars...Again is author, poet, and artist Karen Daly's collection of images and poems that came to life during the pandemic in 2020 and early 2021. In the summer of 2021, in anticipation of her 70th birthday, Karen compiled these thoughtful verses and full color images into a book to mark the event.
