First, there are two principles of purpose. Your purpose is found in:
1. The will of God.
2. The pursuit of God.

Second, there are six specific paths to the discernment of purpose. You can discern God's purpose through:
1. The Word of God.
2. The thoughts of your mind.
3. The inner witness in your heart by His Spirit.
4. Prophetic revelation from God.
5. The counsel of others.
6. Understanding your life's experiences.
