Mediating looks ~ 'tween my sight, her face

Where milk-white features ~ vend prettified wares

As a peacock hawks ~ the spectrum it bears

Her stillness campaigns ~ vanishing twilight

To nominate night's ~ deep blue complexion

And chaperons time ~ far beyond midnight

To later cast votes ~ for Sun's resurrection

Or ballot for dawn's ~ young re-election

Disembarking there ~ petitioned her name

Yet, without reply ~ she and I became

Themes include: heartbreak, nature, love, euphemistic eroticism, philosophy, afterlife, passion, destiny, intangible beauty, and death (death of a loved one, pet, or concept).
