"Secrets" Through Her Eyes

Have you ever thought of the possibility of a young girl's ability to survive the harsh cycles that life throws at her when she is raised without a father? As the girl in the mirror desperately tried to get away from what seems like a horrific story of her life, she continuously encounters many tribulations that holds her back from getting to know the one distinct thing in her life - herself.

"SECRETS" THROUGH HER EYES is a narrative non-fiction story of a young frightened girl. She is inexperienced but made to be responsible before her time. Her adjustment to life as one of the recycled familiarities of her family; as if her mother's constant criticism of her weren't enough. She also has to deal with her own vulnerabilities and insecurities to the demons she fights off within her own existence, by surrendering her body unceasingly to those that offers a bit of justification to her unwarranted identity. She struggles to combine her uncomfortable and awkward adolescent body with her new, unpredictable and interestingly found sexual maturity-filled world. In the end, she realizes that when your world is out of control, the only thing you can trust is your own instinct for survival.
