William D'Aubigny is a retired RCMP proceeds of crime investigator who occasionally takes on investigative assignments for the Jockey Club. His brother Walt, is a Canadian Army veteran of the Afghan war, fighting back from the loss of a limb, a failed marriage, and a drug dependency. Together they have bought and trained two racehorses as part dream and part equine therapy.
