An inspiring must-read! This will make you cry, laugh, and be in awe of this small woman who triumphed over huge mountains of emotional and physical abuse to achieve the American Dream! When I moved across the country a few years ago, I met the sweetest elderly couple down the street and fell in love. Truly, I fell in love with them-especially her. I admire Ratha for her strength, her sense of humor, as well as her love for others and for our country. Hear- ing her talk about her life's journey and all the trials and tribulations she had to overcome convinced me. Right away, I knew that her story needed to be told. I had to tell her story so that others, like you, could laugh with her, cry with her, and fall in love with her, too.
