Hauling a horse trailer through the rain-swept Northern California mountain road, Catherine O'Shea narrowly avoids a head on collision with a red Porsche. The expensive car represents all that Catherine detests. That's why the disheveled,
out of work carpenter, who emerges from behind the wheel is curious to her. The car is not drivable, and not ready to go back to the place he was fleeing, Billy convinces Catherine he can help her with odd jobs if she lets him stay for a few day. Their budding three-day romance is threatened by its own cataclysmic collision. Secrets will need to be revealed and trust will need to be built so these two can stop butting heads long enough to figure out if they are in love.
