Reality of Life

In his first memoir, Emish Muwanguzi talks about his reality and experiences of healing from past disappointment, loss and hope. Overcoming the challenges of poverty and family separation, he candidly shares a series of moments that have shaped his story into an example of resilience. Wanting to be remembered as someone who devoted his life to impact the lives of others with empowerment, inspiration, and education.
This is not a typical story, but one that connects with every one of us. It begins with memories of a loving mother who left him and his siblings behind. From a new life with an orphanage to finding faith and education as keys to doorways of possibility, it becomes apparent where the human spirit can find the power to grow, even in darkness.

He continues to work tirelessly with the team at WAMU Youth Ministries, the organization that he created to bring hope to the outer villages in need of education, medicine, and other services to the people who needed them most. And, he will tell you, of a Christian faith and belief that every effort to make the world a better place is needed and valuable and offers a generational message to inspire.
