Rebel in Radio (1973) looks at the story of WQXR, the rebel New York commercial radio station. It examines WQXRs place in broadcasting history, and how, at a time when American commercial radio had become but a pawn of the advertising industry, it showed that a radio station could be competitive and still maintain high programme and advertising standards.
