Rebuilding a World

The works collected here display the mastery and perspective of a mature poet, whose unique voice expresses a wide range of emotional states and ideas. These poems come from a difficult period in the author's life, the years 2007-2008, when a series of serious health problems caused him to re-evaluate, not only himself, but the very meaning of his identity. It is not surprising then that images of loss, disorientation, tentative reaching out, violent change, and isolation permeate these poems.
