Eddie is a hot-headed young man struggling with the monotonous and meaningless drudgery of work in the corporate world. So, finally, he decides to do something about it – Eddie quits his job and moves to Rio de Janeiro. The wonders of this beautiful country enrich his life, as does a lovely young woman whom he happens to meet under the most amazing of circumstances. The family moves back to the United States; but Eddie’s wife longs to return to Brazil and her unhappiness in America destroys the marriage.
