IIf everything containing plastic disappeared tomorrow, how would you manage? During a week in a hot late summer somewhere on the North West coast of Lancashire a series of explosions leaves a fine powdery dust settled on everything. Jack Dale and Ella Grundy, together with friends and neighbours, investigate the source of the dust while to their horror, they find everything containing plastic starts to disappear.
