Regional workshop on the EAF-Nansen Programme and planning meeting of the 2017 R/V Dr Fridtjof Nansen surveys in the Gulf of Guinea

This is the report of a regional workshop organised under the EAF-Nansen Programme 'Supporting the application of the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries management considering climate and pollution impacts'. The workshop aimed at planning the 2017 R/V Dr Fridtjof Nansen surveys in the Gulf of Guinea off the Atlantic coast of Africa and the activities on the scientific work, management and capacity development components of the EAF-Nansen Programme. The report has been compiled from materials prepared for the meeting, presentations made at the meeting and the outcome of discussions at the meeting. The draft of the report was put together by staff of the EAF-Nansen Programme Coordination Unit at FAO, with input from staff of the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research (IMR) and the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries (DoF)
