Religions of the World

Being religiously literate is an essential civic requirement for Americans living in the global world of the 21st century, and investigating different religions can be exciting, fun, and enlightening.  World history courses try to bring in some religion but schools and teachers are so pressed for time, they are lucky if they can cover the origins and then connect those ideas to the modern world. 

Written as a discussion with the reader, Religions of the World: A Question of Faith starts the journey of studying world religions. Interwoven into this narrative is Jay Lamb's own quest for understanding, communicated through the passion and curiosity that he has found in his search for answers.  He wrestles with a number of religious questions and tries to discover, in a rational way, what makes the most sense. Readers are invited to join the conversation.
