HBCU graduate Nina Hillman has been through hell and back. She's run away from the abusive father of her child Benjamin Jones, and wants nothing to do with the turmoil he brings. All she wants now is to make a better life for her and her son Nicholas. But Benjamin won't let her move on without a fight. She finally meets the man of her dreams Trevor Johnson, and plans to settle down with him. Trevor has been looking for her all of his life.
