Reproductive Medicine

The practice of modern fertility medicine may require the co-operation of people from a number of specialties, many of whom do not have a medical background, and fewer still who have knowledge of the gynaecological terms which are still in predominant use. Furthermore, scientific advances have led to the introduction of techniques and terms unfamiliar to the non-scientist, including the gynaecologist. This dictionary of reproductive medicine, the first of its kind, provides definitions of around 800 terms. It is extensively cross referenced, and explains the clinical relevance of each term.
