This book two on self-reliance covers the social and environmental conditions, particularly universal, fact-based education, population planning, and bottom-up democracy, that are necessary for mostly self-reliant living as opposed to mostly corporate-reliance or mostly government-reliance, neither of which are sustainable. This author holds that self-reliant people must promote these conditions in their communities, nations, and planet or they will lose the freedom of practicing self-reliance. Empire-builders in big religion, or big business, or big government or all the above will take over
