Reweaving The Web

"Reweaving the Web- A Shamanic Journey of Connection" is an exploration of shamanism as a philosophy that can be used for a greater understanding of ourselves, in connection to the world in which we live. It explores the wisdom that is innate within the natural world, and other species, that can be accessed individually to enhance our approach to our lives, be they urban or rural.

The approach is seen through the Celtic model, allowing people in an economically focused world to find themselves in the mirrors that nature provides. It holds the thesis that 'everything is alive, conscious and intelligent", therefore able to be interacted with and hence learnt from.

The artificial world we have created has narrowed our vision to the profit motive. This has come to exclude our connection to all else in our drive to own. The unhealthy patterns that have developed encourage physical and psychological ill health alongside destruction of the Earth and many species.

We need to come back into alignment with the natural laws that serve, and have served us all so well since the beginning. Shamanic thought is the oldest form of philosophy and mental health. By tuning back to its principles we can begin the journey of reconnection that we so desperately need in order to save ourselves, our children, other species, and restore health to the overall system of life.
