Rite Of Passage

Tree Planting is often described as a Canadian “rite of passage” for youth in their early twenties.  While that may be somewhat of a glorification, there’s no debating the fact that more than ten thousand Canadians plant trees each year as a summer job, and well over a hundred thousand have done it at some point in their lives.

This book is a photo odyssey that examines the industry from within, from the perspective of planters who are working in remote tent camps.  Although the focus of the book is to share a visual representation of planting life and culture rather than one based on essays, a picture is worth a thousand words.
