The role of the Air Force in frontier defense is essentially one of obtaining and maintaining air superiority over the area used as a base for the invading force. The author includes approved doctrine, nature of operations, the naval and air situation, an analysis of Air Force action, hostile raids and landings, and an invasion via land frontier as contents of his study.
