Starting a business in developing countries is a daunting task for young entrepreneurs due to financial constraints. Insufficient capital, lack of savings avenues, and existing debt burdens pose significant hurdles. Banks and financial institutions are often reluctant to lend to young entrepreneurs due to perceived risks and lack of collateral. This study investigates the critical role of PAEEJ in facilitating access to affordable financing, entrepreneurial skills, and technical resources for young Burundian entrepreneurs. It seeks to understand how these support mechanisms impact economic growth, job creation, and the well-being of the youth, thereby contributing to the overall development of the country. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the contribution of PAEEJ to the success of youth entrepreneurship in Burundi and its impact on economic growth and job creation. Specifically, the study aims to: Assess the effectiveness of PAEEJ's financing practices, including access to credit, interest rates, guarantees, and repayment terms. Measure the economic impact of PAEEJ-funded activities, particularly in job creation and local economic development.
