It's 1979, and free-spirited Kylie Gardner has one thing on her mind: spending the whole summer break with her best friends from Orange West High: Sharon, Helen and Tahlia. They call themselves The Sunsets, bonded by their mutual love of listening to music, riding their bicycles and swimming at the local lake. Every year, they spend the summer holidays together. Decades later, Kylie must return to Orange - but the town she once loved holds disturbing secrets and evokes haunting memories. On her journey back, she reveals the unrest and deception that unfurls leading up to one fateful night back in the summer of '79.
