Command Sergeant Major, Charles Nella Mallory Sr., lay in a coma fighting for survival, after a gunshot wound to the head. Accused of murder, many people believed his suicide attempt was in effort to escape from prosecution, and a lifetime in prison. In the meantime, Four star General, Thomas Laskey had become a reign of terror as a base commander of United States Army, in the lives of female soldiers that appealed to his preference. Frightened by his powerful position after being abused, and threatened to be dishonorably discharged from the military, caused most of the ladies to remain silent. Thomas was a one man tidal wave until the day he met Brigadier General Kandi Douglas. Even though both were married to other people, they became romantically involved with each other. This union would eventually explode, and produce a unity that would change Kandi's life forever. The tragic situations that occurred in this union could not protect even the most innocent, as felonies graduated to new levels. In the end.....would Charles survive his mortal wound and be found guilty of the alleged crimes? Would Thomas pay for his crimes? And would Kandi stand by her man? Only time will tell.
