For those that don't know him, Sam Buck is a private detective of Native/ American origin based in Atlanta, Georgia Sam and his assistant Rose Scott are at it again, only this time she is not Rose Scott the assistant, but Mrs. Samuel T. Buck. They were on their honeymoon on an island in Georgia when they were interrupted by a telephone call from a prospective client. Sam was not particularly pleased, but he talked to the person anyway. It seems that he own a software business and want Sam to track down a couple of employees who skipped town, illegally with some of the caller's material.
