Patrick J. Kerrison grew up the son of a writer for the New York Post. He spent most of his formative years at the racetrack. This story, Saratoga: One Idiot's Journey to the Winner's Circle, is a simple one. It is a light hearted and fun love story of a knucklehead kid who grew up at the races, in love with thoroughbred horse racing, Saratoga Springs, NY and ultimately an amazing woman who made a dream he held dear to him for over 40 years come true. It is also a look back at some of the more notorious and colorful people that shaped the town's history and their role in gambling and horse racing at The Spa. It is the first book by Kerrison.
