This Book is helpful because it investigates how educators perceive educational standards as a common trend in the education field. Several studies were conducted to examine educators' knowledge and familiarity about either new or exciting educational standards, but none was about the Saudi faculty members' familiarity and perceptions of the CAEP standards. Some of these studies were investigating graduate students' perceptions about the concepts of standards and accreditation. Others were about teachers' perceptions of standards and their awareness and ability to implement national standards. These studies were conducted in different places and under different circumstances. Other studies were conducted in the United States with different participants using different methods of data collection. However, no study has been conducted specifically examining faculty members' perceptions of educational standards. The participants of the studies in the literature were either graduate students, pre-service teachers, or teachers. This study contributes to the literature by conducting the study in the Middle East, specifically in Saudi Arabia.
