Schatten Ombre

Schatten Ombre is a dialogue of old and new works by the artist Wolfgang Gfgen. A play of shadows develops between pure form and narrative content. On 52 pages, the essence of the two least colorful colors is traced black and white. On the right-hand sides of each page are paper cuts from the years 1995 1998. They are juxtaposed with pictorial responses from 2019, which were created in the original size of the publication especially for this artists book. Hand-signed artist edition, 200 copies.
