Schwerelos - Weightless

Auf einem einsamen Hof lebt Tom mit seiner Mutter, dem Baby und ihrem neuen Mann. Jeder Tag ist gleich. Jeden Tag muss das Holz vor dem Haus gehackt werden. Tom spricht mit Julie - nur noch mit Julie. Von ihr will er wissen, was passiert ist. Alles andere nimmt Tom nicht mehr wahr. Sein Leben und die Welt ziehen lautlos, wie in Zeitlupe an ihm vorbei.
Als Teil der deutschen Delegation die Autorin und ihr Stck 2005 zum internationalen World Interplay - Festival of Young Playwrights nach Townsville, Australien, eingeladen. Das Goethe-Institut Sydney finanzierte die bersetzung ins Englische, die Dr. Marlene J. Norst vornahm.

On a solitary farm, Tom lives with his mother, the baby and her new husband. Every day is the same. Every day the wood in front of the house has to be chopped. Tom talks to Julie - only to Julie. He wants her to tell him what happened. Tom no longer notices anything else. His life and the world pass him by silently, as if in slow motion.
As part of the German delegation, the author and her play were invited in 2005 to the international World Interplay - Festival of Young Playwrights in Townsville, Australia.
The Goethe-Institut Sydney financed the English translation of the work, which was undertaken by Dr Marlene J. Norst.
