In the postwar 1940's, Faith returns to her hometown to plan her country wedding. But things have changed. Even Nonni Trimboli, whom she loved as a grandmother, has passed. Nothing seems safe and her ideal life, with her ideal fiancé, is constantly being challenged by her childhood friend, Gabe Trimboli.
